Accommodate. Collaborate.

The Survival Guide for New Special Education Teachers

The school year is underway and everyone is settling into their new routines. To make that easier, this week’s FREE tool is an accommodations checklist to help keep you organized. Now that you’ve gotten to know your students, take a minute to fill it out so you can keep track of the accommodations your students need for both testing and classwork. This is also a great tool for sharing information with co-teachers and other relevant teaching staff. Use it and keep everyone on the same page–literally! The table comes from “The Survival Guide for New Special Education Teachers,” a must-have resource for new and veteran special educators that will answer all your questions about teaching in the 21st Century special education classroom. CEC’s Tool of the Week is a free resource designed to support you in your special education practice. Subscribe and it’ll be automatically delivered to your inbox!  Get your Tool of the Week.
