Let it Snow

It’s that time of year when we can expect to see some of that cold and icy stuff blanketing school bus stops and playgrounds. What better way to keep kids focused on school work during snowy school days than to plan lessons about snow? That’s why this week’s FREE tool is a complete science lesson plan about snow, using the nonfiction book “Snow.” The lesson comes from CEC’s “U-STARS~PLUS Science and Nonfiction Connections.” This collection of lesson plans blends science with literacy instruction for grades K–3. Lessons include thinking questions and hands-on activities designed to engage students in ways that highlight their potential. CEC’s Tool of the Week is a free resource designed to support you in your special education practice. Subscribe and it’ll be automatically delivered to your inbox!  Get your Tool of the Week.
